Mock Edgar Allan Poe Funeral

Mock Edgar Allan Poe Funeral

Edgar Allan Poe wrote many horror stories more than 160 years ago. The Poe Museum is commemorating Poe’s Death in 1849 at the age of 40. Poe didn’t sell his writing very well when he was alive. Now his work has passed into public domain. “The Black Cat” and “The Raven” are Halloween favorites.  See the website.
John Aster (remember him from the Addams Family on TV?) will be the speaker at Poe’s mock funeral at the Poe Museum in Baltimore. Aster also does a one-man stage show of Poe’s horror stories. He’s now a professor and travels to various universities with his drama presentation.
Most of Edgar Allan Poe’s work was 1 to 3 pages in length. If you can write like Edgar Allan Poe, your work can be presented at  HorrorMasters.com. A free sample of your work will be presented for download and grading as to how much readers enjoyed your writing.
