Mahalo is an online community that seeks give users the ability to share their knowledge by asking and answer questions, writing how-to’s and creating topic pages. It’s a cross between Wikipedia (except we pay our editors and contributors) and eHow (except we have a more lucrative revenue sharing model).

Some Mahalo writers earn upwards of $2,000 a month, building and maintaining “How To” pages. Not only can you earn money by writing pages, Mahalo also has a generous revenue sharing model, where you make 40% of the AdSense revenue that comes to your page. “How To” pages can be the most lucrative pages on Mahalo… there are some pages that earn hundreds of dollars a month!

If you want to write “How To’s” for Mahalo you need to first get vetted for the team by participating in a Rush Week (beginning every Wednesday).  Simply accept a Rush Week task and submit it for review. If your “How-To” passes our test, we will offer you a position on the Mahalo How-To Team.
